MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

St. Patrick’s Day is coming quickly. We will honor our patron saint with a prayer service in the church at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. You’re invited to pray and then head to our award winning fish fry.

Please join us, as well, for our St. Patrick Shenanigans event for dinner, Irish dancing, live music, and silent auction on Saturday in the Celtic Center. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. This is a significant fundraiser that promises to be loads of fun. I’m grateful for the months of planning and effort by our Major Events Ministry and all involved who are contributing to its success. We have sold about 100 tickets so please make plans to join us and buy your tickets HERE in advance. We will sell tickets at the door that evening but would appreciate the advanced purchase to assist with planning. The online auction is up and running so bid HERE. I hope to see you there!

This weekend, we will kick-off the Increased Offertory Program that will focus on our stewardship gift of treasure in response to our mission, needs, and God’s generosity. This will be a six week effort and conclude on Easter Sunday. Because of this focus, we will not conduct a formal time and talent renewal process for this upcoming fiscal year. If you would like to make updates to your ministry involvement, please watch for details of how to do this in the coming weeks. Thanks!

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face

and the rains fall soft upon your fields.

And until we meet again,

May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Peace,

Fr. Jeff

Increased Offertory Program Kickoff Weekend

Facing ongoing financial challenges and debt service, we are excited to launch our Increased Offertory Program this weekend, March 15/16. This effort replaces our traditional annual stewardship renewal, emphasizing the importance of your gift of treasure. The six-week program will conclude with Commitment Sunday on Easter weekend. Be on the lookout for three mailings starting mid-March with more details.

Last fall, Fr. Jeff shared our State of the Parish, highlighting pressing financial concerns like budget deficits and debt. Since then, we’ve strengthened budget accountability across the parish and school while enhancing financial transparency, including a debt summary and a dedicated line item for one-time gifts. Now, taking the next step, we invite you to join us in this intentional Increased Offertory Program.

While we will not have a specific renewal process for time and talent this year, your previous commitments will automatically carry over. If you wish to make changes—whether adding, updating, or removing your selections—you may do so online only. A link for online updates will be sent in the near future.
