Hello everybody!
Happy Graduation Week! Please keep our 8th grade graduates in your prayers as they celebrate graduation this Wednesday, May 13. This is an exciting and meaningful milestone in their lives, and we are proud of the young men and women they have become. As they prepare for the next chapter, we pray that they continue to grow in wisdom, faith, and courage, always remaining rooted in Christ and know they have a home at St. Patrick.
This Sunday, May 17, we will host another New Parishioner Welcome gathering at 9:30 a.m. in the Miles Meeting Room. Since January 1, we have welcomed 49 new families to St. Patrick. What a blessing! I continue to be grateful for the way this parish community lives its mission of hospitality and welcome. As Pope Leo XIV recently reminded the Church, “A true parish is where we all learn to say ‘Welcome,’ not only with words, but with a spirit of hospitality, opening the door and welcoming everyone.” Thank you for helping make St. Patrick a place where people feel at home.
As a reminder, we will also recognize Tammy Kessler at the 11:00 a.m. Mass this Sunday with a blessing and hospitality afterward. Tammy has faithfully served our parish community for many years, and we are deeply grateful for the impact she has made in the life of St. Patrick. We send her to continue serving the church in her new role with Catholic Charities. A green box is located at the Welcome Desk for anyone who would like to leave a card or note for Tammy.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support for our parish, school, and all who call St. Patrick home. God bless you!
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
