MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

This Friday, June 19, we observe Juneteenth, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and celebrating freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality for all. Our parish office will be closed in observance of the holiday, and daily Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. As people of faith, we give thanks for the dignity of every human person and pray that we may continue to build a society marked by respect, reconciliation, and peace.

This weekend, we also celebrate Father's Day and will have a special blessing at the end of mass. We give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, and father figures who have loved, guided, protected, and sacrificed for those entrusted to their care. We remember with gratitude the ways they reflect the steadfast love of our Father in heaven. We also hold in prayer those for whom this day carries sorrow: those who mourn the loss of a father, those who long to be fathers, those whose relationships with their fathers are strained, and those who carry other quiet burdens. May God's grace and peace be with each of them.

Finally, a reminder that Baby Bottle Boomerang donations are due back this weekend. Thank you for your generosity in supporting women and men in the Louisville area who are facing an unexpected pregnancy. Through your gifts, Little Way Pregnancy Resource Center is able to provide resources, encouragement, and compassionate care to those who need it most.

Thank you for the many ways you continue to live out the Gospel through prayer, service, and generosity. May God bless you and those you love!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff

TAKE ACTION

Attention Ministry Leaders

Please be on the lookout for an email from Lynne Marshall that includes your 2026/27 ministry list from our stewardship renewal efforts. Be sure to contact those parishioners who have indicated an interest in your respective ministries in the next several weeks.

Important Security Alert: Phishing Scams

Please stay vigilant! Scammers are once again sending fraudulent emails to parishioners impersonating Fr. Jeff. Please be advised that Fr. Jeff, Fr. Will, and Fr. Tony will never solicit help or gift cards via email or text. While you should always verify the sender's address, please note that sophisticated bad actors can sometimes mimic valid addresses. If you are unsure, do not respond - instead, contact the parish office directly for verification.

SEE YOU THERE!
