MESSAGE FROM FR. JEFF

Hello everybody!

One of the great blessings of summer is seeing how the generosity of our parish continues even while many are traveling and enjoying a different pace of life. Thank you for the many ways you continue to live your faith through prayer, service, and giving.

As many of you know, we are currently supporting two important outreach efforts. The Knights of Columbus are collecting non-perishable food items for the St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive, and we are wrapping up our Annual Mission Appeal for Mustard Seed Communities. Grocery bags for the food drive and donation envelopes for Mustard Seed remain available in the Gathering Space. If you prefer, you can also use the QR code included in this email to make a gift to Mustard Seed. Thank you for your continued generosity toward our neighbors both near and far.

I am also pleased to share that Fr. Evrard Muhoza arrives tomorrow to begin his ministry at St. Patrick. We will officially introduce and welcome him at all of the Masses this weekend. I know our parish family will extend to him the same warmth and hospitality that have become hallmarks of St. Patrick. Please keep Fr. Evrard in your prayers as he begins this first chapter of his priestly ministry.

Our search for the next principal of St. Patrick Catholic School continues throughout the summer. If someone comes to mind whom you believe would be an excellent fit for our school and mission, I encourage you to share the opportunity with them. Often the best candidates are found through personal invitation, and your recommendation may help us discover the leader God is calling to serve our school community.

Finally, Fr. Tony is enjoying some well-deserved vacation time this week. Please keep him in your prayers for safe travels, good rest, and a refreshing break. We miss him at the rectory and look forward to welcoming him back. And when you see him, don't forget to ask about his adventures!

Thank you for all you do to make St. Patrick a welcoming Catholic community and a beacon of Christ's love. May God abundantly bless you!

Peace,

Fr. Jeff

TAKE ACTION

Important Security Alert: Phishing Scams

Please stay vigilant! Scammers often send fraudulent emails to parishioners impersonating Fr. Jeff. Please be advised that Fr. Jeff, Fr. Evrard, and Fr. Tony will never solicit help or gift cards via email or text. While you should always verify the sender's address, please note that sophisticated bad actors can sometimes mimic valid addresses. If you are unsure, do not respond - instead, contact the parish office directly for verification.

SEE YOU THERE!
