Hello everybody!
Oh, it’s good to be home! I was able to spend a few days with my dad and family in Colorado Springs and 12 days with a crew from our Scout Troop 380 at Philmont Scout Ranch, a 140k+ acre high adventure base in northern New Mexico. That included 10 days of backpacking in the Sangre de Christo Mountains, encountering God in the beauty of nature and in the relationships we forged. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity and the experience.
As we head into August, opportunities for engagement, growth, and service will be revving up, as well. Please see below for ways to pray, learn, serve, join, and give together. Our food drive for St. Vincent de Paul food pantry is concluding at the end of July. Please bring any remaining donations to the parish office by Thursday of this week. Thanks!
Finally, I wanted to offer a work of thanks and congratulations to our entire community for the Community Choice Award for Place of Worship. It is a testament to God’s work in our community and through you to be a beacon of Christ’s love. May Christ’s light continue to shine bright through you!
God bless you and those you love.
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
