Hello everybody!
With our first day of school next Tuesday, Aug 12, and our ministry opportunities also gearing up, the Summer Social has become a great event to kick off our fall activities. Please join me and Fr. Loi for some good food, friendship, and fun on Saturday, Aug 16, from 6-8:00 p.m. in the lower parking lot outside the Celtic Center. All ages are welcome!
The Meal Packing service event REGISTRATION is open. This event is one of our most popular outreach opportunities where all ages can have some fun doing meaningful work to feed those who are hungry. Make plans to attend on Saturday, Sep 6, from 10:00 a.m.-noon. We need 200 volunteers to reach our goal this year to pack 30,000 meals.
As you recall, we have adjusted staffing in response to our debt and financial situation, seeking to be good stewards of the resources that are entrusted to us. One adjustment in line with our new staffing level will be a change in Parish Office hours. On Tuesday-Friday, the office will open half an hour later at 8:00 a.m. beginning on Aug 11. The office will be open:
Monday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
Tuesday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
