Five Things the Chamber Did for You This Past Week
1.We sent President/CEO Chanda Ryan to her 4th and final week of the US Chamber’s Southeast Institute for Organization Management in Athens, Georgia. She will have now completed 96 hours of nonprofit management, and we look forward to what this will contribute to our Chamber and the Navarre Community!
2. We had a fantastic time with the Navarre Young Professionals, as they helped 30+ attendees make new connections. Everyone really enjoyed learning more about the Grab-a-Bite Food Court & Bar located in Midway. We are looking forward to getting them more involved in the Navarre Business Community!
3.We celebrated President/CEO Chanda Ryan graduating with her IOM (Institute of Organization Management) Certification!! **What is the US Chamber’s Institute for Organization Management (IOM)?** IOM is a premier professional development program designed to enhance leadership skills and strengthen the operations of chambers of commerce and associations. Through comprehensive courses and networking opportunities, participants gain valuable insights and tools to drive their organizations forward. This achievement represents a four-year commitment to excellence. At YOUR Chamber, we are always investing in ways to help your business thrive. Congrats, Chanda! We are so proud of you!
4.We were excited and honored to have President/CEO Chanda Ryan and Immediate Past Board Chair Steve Rhodes/Florida Power & Light graduate from Hurlburt Air Force Base’s 2023-2024 with a Farewell Reception with 1st Special Operations Wing Commander Patrick Dierig. Chanda, Steve and other local leaders that participated in the Program will continue to help Team Hurlburt work to improve base and community projects. Housing, traffic and child-care are three critical components we are working to improve for all the military families.
5.We were happy to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of one of Navarre Beach’s oldest businesses: Juana’s Pagodas/Sailors’ Grill at their Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, June 30th!
