FIVE THINGS THE CHAMBER DID FOR YOU THIS PAST WEEK
JUNE 3
1.We honored those who gave their lives while protecting the lives of others throughout the world by laying a wreath at the Memorial Day Ceremony in Navarre Park.
2.We attended the 6th Ranger Training Battalion Change of Responsibility Ceremony where Command Sergeant Major Tyler E. Benge relinquished responsibility to Command Sergeant Major Stephen J. Card at Camp James E. Rudder on Eglin Air Force Base.
3.We began discussions for a brand-new member benefits, and started working on a Chamber Member Benefits Survey that will be sent out to our members very soon.
4.We had a blast at the Navarre Young Professionals Social Hour and Inaugural Cornhole Tournament at Buffalo Wild Wings in Navarre!
5.We were glad to be part of the Florida Chamber's May 2024 Local Chamber Federation Meeting where we received reminders on how to help address Transportation Trends in Our Community, discussed what is at stake in the 2024 Florida Ballot, top issues impacting policy decisions, Florida's CFO gave us a preview of Hurricane Season Preparedness & an Insurance Market Update, the Legislative Report Card, preparations for the 2025 Legislative Session and we got an overview of Florida's current economy at-a-glance - including the current housing market. The importance of helping local business leaders recruit better candidates was also discussed, including a reminder to nominate someone from your community to attend a virtual campaign school. And, everyone needs to be on the lookout for the 2025 Business Agenda Survey.
