Five Things the Chamber Did for You This Past Week

.We attended the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners Committee Meeting at the Tiger Point Community Center.

.We represented at the Santa Rosa County Legislative Coalition where we discussed reviving the #NoVoteNoVoice initiative to remind our members and the community about the importance of registering to vote and using your voice to vote.

.We were excited and proud that President/CEO Chanda Ryan and Immediate Past Chair Steve Rhodes/Florida Power & Light had an opportunity to fly a mission aboard the MC-130J with the rest of the Honorary Commanders from Hurlburt AFB. The loadmaster, SSgt Klayton Curran, met everyone inside Base Ops to give a safety brief, then escorted them out to the aircraft. Col Patric Dierig, the Commander of the 1st Special Operations Wing also stopped by before the Honorary Commanders took off on their 3-hour flight mission.

.We had a blast at the Chamber 101 Member Orientation Breakfast Workshop sponsored by LLG Architecture! The house was packed with both newbies and seasoned pros, all eager to dive into learning more about the Chamber and the Navarre Business Community.

.We had a lot of fun with Navarre Chamber President/CEO Chanda Ryan, teaming up as a “Celebrity Chef” with Santa Rosa County District #5 Commissioner Colton Wright, Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson, David Peaden/Florida Power & Light, Missy Rogers/The Arc Gateway, Stephen Rampersad/The Arc Gateway, and Tonya & Danny Zimmern/The Zimmern Team for The Arc’s “Gateway of Hope Luncheon” at Samurai Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar. It was great to see so many Chamber Members and friends supporting this special event.
