The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its next Business After Hours Networking Mixer on October 11th at Finger Lakes Community College's Geneva Campus Center from 4-6 PM. Guests at the event will enjoy refreshments, networking and take tours while learning more about our hosts commitment to education in the region. A presentation, drawings and group photo will take place shortly after 5:00 PM. | |
Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members and is included for all 2023 BAH Season Pass Holders.
Invoices from BAH Mixers will incur a $10 per person charge, along with processing fee.
To avoid post event charges, please prepay in advance or with cash or check at the door.
As reservations are required, attendees are asked to RSVP no later than Tuesday, October 10th, by contacting the Chamber at 315-789-1776 or emailing info@genevany.com.

GACoC to Co-Host Grand Opening Relocation for CCMI's New Facility on Thursday October 19 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce will be co-hosting a Member Milestone Celebration to honor the official Grand Opening and Relocation of CCMI Inc’s new space on Thursday October 19, 2023. The event will take place at the newly built location at 2939 State Route 14 in Geneva from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and will feature tours of the new facility, light refreshments and a ribbon cutting. A photo op for Chamber members and event attendees will occur at 12:00 pm.
CCMI Inc was founded in 1991 by Wells C Lewis as a plastic fabrication business. The name of the business stands for Create, Construct, Manufacture and Invent. Originally located in Auburn, the business moved to a larger space in downtown Geneva. In 2004 Well’s son Anthony joined the business and expanded operations with new technology and customers. Today CCMI has grown into four specific departments, CNC Routing, CNC Machining, Heavy Gauge or Cut Sheet Thermoforming, and final fabrication and finishing. These four departments have proven to encompass all industry needs of plastic fabrication. CCMI headquarters is conveniently located off the NYS thruway, boasting a brand new, state-of-the-art 8,600 square foot manufacturing facility that utilizes cutting edge equipment alongside tried and true industry classics.

The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its annual Membership Harvest Celebration on Wednesday September 27 at Lincoln Hill Farms. The event was sold out and tickets were closed after 150 guests signed up to attend the event which featured live music, auctions, a harvest buffet, desserts, and an all new this year- goat meet and greet!

The Goat Meet and Greet was a welcome additon to this year's event and turned out to be very popular for kids and parents alike! (below)

This year’s Harvest Celebration showcased a custom menu that Lincoln Hill provided, boasting a colorful farm-to-table harvest buffet. The event also offered the return of a Member Raffle, Silent Auction, and live music. Entertainment was provided by regional musician, Brent Bond, along with his band “Ghost Mold.”

FLCC's Culinary Arts Program Hosts Dinner at Julia Events This October 6, 13, 27 |
The culinary arts program hosts Dinner at Julia events open to the public on Oct. 6, 13, and 27 and Nov. 3 and 17.
Students prepare five-course gourmet meals under the supervision of faculty. Reservations are required at Julia@flcc.edu or (585) 785-1476. The cost is $40 per person, including tax and tip.
Menus will be posted on the College's events calendar at events.flcc.edu a few days in advance. Student-made wines will also be on sale by the glass or bottle during Julia events.

The Seneca Lake Wine Trail officially launched the 12 Days of Wine: a holiday-themed case of wines from twelve member wineries.
The case features twelve, full-size bottles. A specially selected variety of wines that are perfect for the holiday season. The bottles were hand-picked, from dry to sweet, white to red, and even bubbly! It’s our own unique take on the popular advent-style cases of wine you’ll find at big box retailers around the holidays. But this is extra-special because it’s full of Seneca Lake wines!
