A NOTE FROM THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
 
This week, the Chamber's newsletter is being hijacked by yours truly. It has been an absolute pleasure to start this new journey with Greater Chillicothe Ross County Development and I am looking forward to what the future holds for our community. There is no doubt in my mind that we have a bright future and I hope to be there every step of the way; encouraging others to join the cause in making our community reach heights we've never seen. 
 
As we head into the Fourth of July holiday, we celebrate our independence and the American way that has prevailed for close to two and a half centuries. Our country was built by people who took risks, followed dreams, and stood tall for their beliefs. I wish to be there for those in our community who aim to follow their dreams starting businesses, developing careers, or serving others.
 
Whatever the goal, we can do it together because that is the American way. It is time to stand together as a community and conquer our problems, build off our successes, and show the world that Southern Ohio is a wonderful place to call home.
 
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday and I look forward to serving you once again. My office is always open and my phone is always near.
