A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Happy New Year from your Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce! As we settle back in to our routines, the 2019 Board of Directors is already hard at work within the business community continuing our vision of Creating the Best Location for Business.

Looking ahead for this year, and building off the successes of 2018, some of the key components of our strategic plan will continue to be supporting existing business and industry while working to sustain new businesses to the area, education, workforce development, and regional advocacy partnerships through business/educational partnerships and quality professional development activities.

We will also continue to actively engage our members through a variety of networking and educational opportunities. I would like to personally welcome all businesses, of any size, to become a part of the Chamber. As we enter our 159 th year we continue to grow stronger and we look forward to another great year of moving Macon forward.

In closing, I would like for you all to read the first ever “Macon Market Report” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in case you missed it. Please check it out  here. Utilize this as a link to your business website to help us showcase Macon as united for great opportunity.

Sincerely,
Yvonne Williams
