“Skin Care-ful” Melanoma presentation set for April 21st at the Duxbury Council on Aging
DUXBURY AND PLYMOUTH, MA… The South Shore area has among the highest Melanoma rates in the country.
Zoe Ongaro, a certified Physician Assistant at Contemporary Dermatology will discuss what to look for, when to be concerned, preventative care and additional skin advice at the “Skin Care-ful” skin cancer presentation scheduled for April 21, 2026 at 2 p.m. at the Duxbury Council on Aging (COA), 10 Mayflower Street, Duxbury, MA 02332. Light refreshments will be served.

According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, one in five Americans will get skin cancer in their lifetime. The high incidence of skin cancer means regular skin exams are crucial, particularly when you have a family or personal history of skin cancer. Ongaro is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society for Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) in addition to Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants.
