Webinar:
Onboarding and
Offboarding Employees
PRESENTED BY:
Daniel McCoy
Kennesaw State University
Small Business Development Center
According to recent data, more than 25 percent of the U.S. population experiences some type of career transition each year. Unfortunately, many transitions are not successful.
Half of all hourly workers leave new jobs in the first four months, and half of senior level outside hires fail within 18 months. Clearly, there is room for improvement.
An important way leaders can combat these challenges is to implement a robust employee onboarding program while also learning from those exiting. In this session, we will explore the correct manner to onboard and to terminate, along with tips to improve retention.
Join Daniel McCoy, Business Consultant at UGA SBDC at Kennesaw State University, who is certified by the Society of Human Resource Management and is Veterans at Work certified, for this hour long discussion of onboarding and offboarding.

Self Awareness
Self-Regulation
Motivation

Social Skills
This program will include an Emotional Quotient (EQ) assessment* that will be taken by each attendee in advance of the program and measures emotional intelligence, or your ability to sense, understand and effectively apply the power and acumen of emotions to facilitate high levels of collaboration and productivity.
*Attendees will receive a link prior to the program to complete this included assessment.
