Back-to-Business Strategies
Presented by:
Sean Kaufman, Safer Behaviors
Sean Kaufman, CEO of Safer Behaviors, will provide an introductory webinar discussing back-to-business strategies specific to COVID-19.

Following this overview, Sean will facilitate a Q & A session allowing participants to ask questions specific to their business and organizational needs.
For over 25 years, Sean Kaufman has worked to minimize human risk factors within workplace environments by controlling the interactions between human behavior and environmental conditions. Before leading his own organization, Sean served at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Emory University Rollins School of Public Health. Fundamentals
Presented by:
William Birmingham, Mauldin & Jenkins
How exactly do debits and credits work and what do they have to do with the balance sheet and income statement? What is the difference between accrual and cash accounting? And, what is "Opening Balance Equity" and why does my accountant say it shouldn't be there?!?
If you've ever found yourself scratching your head over any of these questions, this course is for you! We will demystify the fundamentals of double-entry bookkeeping so you will understand what is happening behind the scenes as you perform day-to-day transactions in your accounting software. You will also become aware of why things sometimes go awry. Since it is such a popular system, we will cover a few specific issues you are likely to encounter in QuickBooks as well.
