And that's a wrap!
SEE YOU NEXT YEAR AT HOMECOMING 2019
Thanks to all of our Alumni, Family, and Friends who came out to celebrate recovery over the weekend. We had nearly 400 people join us for the three-day Homecoming event! Willingway's Marketing Team is already busy uploading the photos taken by our photographer extraordinaire Kinder Cannon. Be on the lookout for an email and a Facebook post in the coming weeks with a link to our photo sharing site.
We will also be announcing our 2019 Homecoming dates soon. And keep in mind that it's never too early to enter our annual theme contest either! Email your ideas to us at

Slop Bucket Challenge
RAISED OVER $2,000 FOR LOCAL NON-PROFITS
Each year at Homecoming, we raise money during our Saturday afternoon BBQ and Open House event for selected Statesboro community nonprofit partners. This year, our Alumni, Staff, Family, and Friends raised over $2,000 in the infamous "Slop Bucket Challenge" and that money will be split between the Bulloch County Boys & Girls Club and the Averitt Center for the Arts. Thank you to everyone who participated--whether you were there to write checks or get slopped!

Darlene retires after 20 years of service
Willingway's beloved Utilization Review Nurse, Darlene Keith, has retired after 20 years of fighting for our patients so that they may receive the alcohol and drug treatment that they need. A going away party was held for Darlene on our main campus with a cake, gifts, and some special goodbye words. Darlene will be missed but we are excited for her to get some rest and relaxation after so many years of hard work and commitment to Willingway.
