With cooler weather approaching, it's the perfect time to cozy up with some hearty, healthy fall recipes. What better way to add some extra flavor and richness in your meals than with a small amount of traditional cheese?

Whether you're making your favorite soup, throwing together a salad or baking a savory pie—a sprinkle of great cheese can take your dish to the next level. Try using a sharp cheddar to add some tanginess to your butternut squash soup, sprinkle some Parmigiano Reggiano on your roasted seasonal veggies for a crispy, nutty finish, or add Le Gruyère AOP to your risottos, gratins or quiches. With just a little bit of cheese, your fall recipes can be that much more delicious.

Fall Recipes with Cheese

Harvest Farro Salad with Brussels Sprouts, Sweet Potato and Cranberry Dressing

This salad has a lovely texture resulting from the combination of nutty farro, roasted sweet potato, and crispy Brussels sprouts. The sweet and zingy cranberry dressing and a few crumbles of either blue cheese or goat cheese bring the dish together.


Halloumi Stuffed Peppers with Bulgur, Chickpeas and Olives

Stuffed vegetables, called Gemista or Yemista, are common throughout Greece and Cyprus. In this version we use bulgur, a staple whole grain, and halloumi, the official cheese of Cyprus, to lend a Cypriot flair to the dish.


Kale with Roasted Beets, Wheat Berries, Goat Cheese and Walnuts

This simple salad is packed with nutrients and flavor. The creamy and tangy goat cheese lends itself well to the sweet and earthy roasted beets and peppery bite of the kale.
