We are humbled by the amazing community support we received on #GivingTuesday, and by the generosity you all show us throughout the year. We are thrilled to announce that we raised $46,350 on #GivingTuesday, funds that will be used to support the work we do with children and families in our community.
A big thank you to Guild Mortgage and to NOW Health Group for providing a matching grant of $15,000, and then to Clay and Jennifer Teramo for donating $15,000 for #GivingTuesday. We are truly grateful.
We also thank so many of you that have adopted families, dropped off toys and pjs, and purchased gift cards to help make the holidays a little brighter for kids and families. If you keep an eye on our social media, you will notice the many pictures we are posting of the work happening here in our “workshop” (aka conference room) by our very own “elves” (aka staff). We are so excited to be part of this season of giving by delivering gifts, it is truly wonderful to see the ways your donations are directly impacting the lives of hundreds of families.
The holiday season is in full swing and it is fun to be back at parties, events, dinners, and generally visiting with family and friends. The festive spirit seems to be everywhere this year and I am certainly enjoying it! We wish you all a wonderful December and look forward to ringing in 2022 with a renewed sense of hope and optimism for a fabulous year ahead.

“Since 2007, I have been given the amazing opportunity to shop for a family in need. For me, Black Friday kickstarts the Christmas spirit. The feeling I get as I go out, amongst the crowds, to take advantage of all the great sales, ensuring that I am able to purchase as many items as possible for these families in need, is truly indescribable.
Each child gets a coat, clothes, and toys to open on Christmas morning and the parent(s) get a gift, but they also receive gift cards to use for food, rent, utilities, or whatever they feel most important.
I truly believe in my heart that this is a great step to help these families start the new year in a better situation.”
