I can hardly believe it's already November! As the year winds down, I find myself reflecting on the incredible work we've accomplished together and am filled with excitement for the holidays just around the corner.

Speaking of the holidays, we are entering one of our busiest times of the year as we gear up to provide gifts for thousands of children in need in our community. There are so many ways you can get involved! Read on to see how you can support children and families this holiday season.

While this time of year is filled with joy and connection, it can also be overwhelming as we juggle various obligations. We often stretch ourselves thin, giving so much time and energy to those around us that it is important to prioritize our own mental and emotional well-being. I like to decompress with a feel-good Hallmark movie that always seems to have a happy ending. How do you deal with the stresses of the holiday season? We hope you will take a moment to think about the things that bring you joy and carve out time for yourself to relax. After all, they say you can't pour from an empty cup.

Need to drop off in the evening or on weekends? Our friends at Sparks Water Bar (325 Harbour Cove Dr suite 101, Sparks, NV 89434) are accepting donations November 18th - December 16th.

At The Children’s Cabinet, we offer a strong Case Management Program that provides personalized wraparound support to every family that reaches out to us. Families work with dedicated case managers to assess their unique needs and establish tailored, family-centered goals.

Our program includes a range of activities designed to empower families, such as accessing community resources, utilizing our Market for food and hygiene supplies, and receiving guidance on education, employment, budgeting, and healthcare.

By fostering independence and strengthening family relationships, our case managers play a crucial role in helping families build brighter futures. Your support makes this important work possible—thank you for being part of our community!

GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Donations made on GivingTuesday support our Client Emergency Needs Fund, which is a special fund we utilize when families face extraordinary challenges and turn to us for assistance.

Your donation will help local families in need with rental assistance, utilities, gas, and unforeseen bills that can bring a family to their financial limit. Every dollar makes a difference.

The Children’s Cabinet is proud to have participated in Lights On After School, Nevada's annual celebration of the vital role after-school programs play in the lives of children and families.

Students in our Continued Success after-school program participated by coloring light bulbs to light up the state with creativity and sharing the impact Continued Success has made on their lives.
