What a great time we had with Celebrate America in Casey, Springfield and Sandwich, IL.   We appreciate everyone who participated and made these three days a tremendous success!  What a great way to salute our Veterans!

July 2nd we were privileged to provide a concert at Lion's Park in White Hall, IL. before the fireworks.   Saved by Grace, Joe Arview and Clint Everetts joined our family for a concert from 6 - 8pm with a Military Salute at 8:00.  It was one of those good ole sing'in and sweat'in  times.  We so appreciate all the groups for being with us.  The crowd was simply tremendous.  They came early and stayed through out the evening.  Once again, Hats off to the White Hall Lions Club for allowing Gospel Music to kick off their  4th of July Family Traditions Celebration!   Scott hadn't planned on singing but it was great to have the family there, especially since their theme was "Family Traditions".   Just sorry the entire family wasn't there.

 

Last Saturday was a great night to be at New Horizons Church in St Elmo, IL.  It was the 5th Anniversary for the Church and we were blessed to be with the Lesters.  Pastor PeeWee Denton is a great guy that has a huge heart for the Lord.  We had a blast and to all the folks at New Horizons, "Thank You".  You made a feel like part of the family!

Sunday morning we headed down to Casey White Oak Church of God.  Pastor Tom and the entire  church have been very special to our family for many years.  We so appreciate the open door to share in the morning service.  We also enjoyed getting to be part of the Sunday School hour and share in the donuts and coffee!  You never go wrong there! HaHa!  We had a great service and it was one of those times you could tell the Holy Spirit was speaking to hearts!  To God be All the Glory!

Sunday evening was our annual stop in Pana, IL at United In Faith. Stanley & Nina Elvers always make all the arrangements and make sure everything is all taken care of.  We appreciate their servants hearts and generosity.  Also, they have super cooks in the church and always have a meal prepared for everyone attending.  They out do themselves every year!

Monday we were in Festus, MO for the Seniors Banquet at 1st Baptist Church.  Scott got called to a job so Brady & Adelai met the bus early to help with sound and Tressa and Paisley met us as well.  It was a special time that the Lord blessed us with.  We were missing all of their spouses, but . . . . someone had to stay home and work (LOL!) However, this old guy was blessed to hear his kids sing together again!  Miss Katie (our Nanny) was worked over-time.  Also we were glad to have John & Janet Groves with us all weekend and we kept their hands and arms full as well.  I just stand amazed at the Lord's blessing and His FAITHFULNESS to provide for our family and this ministry!  What a mighty God we serve!!!  In Christ alone, I put all my trust.
