Deepening in spirit and community in 2021!
In every season, let Stillness call you!
|
|
A special 40th Anniversary Christine Center Spiritual deepening series.
Four seasonal retreat experiences to support all seekers in the natural sanctuary of the Christine Center.
Beginning with our 2020-21 New Year’s retreat!
Join a community of Christine Center seekers in making 2021 a soul-year of connecting deeply to our world and our inner depth. Hosted and anchored by the sisters at the Christine Center, these four retreats follow the natural intelligence and mystic movements of the seasons.
Each weekend is highly experiential and includes contemplative time, personal ritual, and shared opportunities for spiritual exploration.
|
|
For those who wish, the weekdays preceding the weekend offer classic meditation retreat days of deepening. Each day features a contemplative teaching by one of the Christine Center sisters and multiple opportunities for shared meditation practice.
This hallmark series is designed to fit your schedule, and offers a unique opportunity to join with others, and to dive deep, on-site or on-line.
Make a commitment to all four weekends, to the preceding week of contemplative retreat days, or for what ever you can. Join us on-site or on-line. Make 2021 a year truly anchored in a steady spiritual practice and supported by a community of soul.

We’re here for you in 2021!
Two new ways to connect!
All are welcome, and there is no fee.
In 2021, in addition to the weekday morning and afternoon meditations broadcast from our chapel, the on-site Christine Center Sisters are offering a new series of communal meditations and deepening to our extended community of guests, friends, and supporters.
We want to stay connected, present, and supportive to each other during these most unusual times!

On-line Meditations at Full Moon and New Moon.
Join us in the light and energy of the Moon!
Hosted by S. Johanna Seubert, the Full Moon meditation focus is Oneness. Hosted by S. Henrita Frost, the guiding focus for the New Moon meditation is Compassion, Reconciliation and Regeneration.
Each meditation begins at 6:30pm with an introduction to that evening’s focus and concludes at 7:30pm.
A time of collective, silent meditation follows. Afterward, we will reflect together on our shared experience. Starts January 13 and 28, 2021

Upcoming Retreat Offerings
|
|
We understand that the Christine Center is a spiritual home for many of us. It is where we gather to develop relationships and create community, especially during this continued period of uncertainty.
With care and concern about the health and safety of all who come here, as the pandemic continues to grow throughout our region and country, we have decided to move most of our planned retreats to an online format for the present time.
Our hope is to welcome a safe group gathering for our upcoming annual New Years retreat and the beginning of our Seasons of Deepening program.
We remain open and welcome all who would like to come for a personal retreat. We are still welcoming all who come to join us for meditation, and our spiritual companions are available to meet for spiritual guidance.

The Joy of Movement
with Bill Miller
January 22-24, 2021
$150, plus meals and lodging
Finding physical and emotional balance in life can sometimes be a challenge. This retreat will focus on finding balance, both physical and emotional, using yoga, breath practices, meditation and physical exercises, so that a sense of contentment and well-being can be more fully realized.
This retreat is open to those who have never practiced yoga as well as experienced yoga practitioners. Consistent with the Viniyoga lineage, postures (poses) will be adapted to fit the needs of each participant. Breath techniques will be practiced to experience their role in creating balance in body and mind. Seated meditation, either in a chair or on a cushion, will follow certain yoga practices. Strength and balance exercises will be more fully enjoyed with the use of a chair or other props.
