Crossing the Great Divides
“Mending the Gap”
with Sister Simone Campbell

Join us for Crossing the Great Divides this coming Sunday, April 18th!

In this first session of the series, moderated by celebrated public radio host, Jean Feraca, we welcome Sister Simone Campbell who recently retired as executive director of Network for 13 years, and who launched four tours of "Nuns on the Bus," as an arch champion of social justice.
Sister Simone recently shared her new book Hunger for Hope, published last August, stating it is "exactly about the intersection of the spiritual life and the work for justice."

The Christine Center is offering this program in keeping with our vision of “spiritual deepening for global transformation.” What we are facing right now is a spiritual crisis. A crisis of meaning. So many of us are wrestling with the existential question, “What is mine to do?” Crossing the Great Divides is designed to help us live through that question. In the panhandle of this pandemic, we have been offered a unique opportunity to re-think, re-group, and recover. Let us not squander it. Let us begin a revolution of love. As Amanda Gorman entreats us, let us “close the divide because we know, to put our future first, we must put our differences aside.”

Christine Center Daily Meditation Online
Monday through Friday ~ 8:45am and 5pm (CST)

We became aware recently of a challenge with our online meditation link suddenly asking for a password. We apologize for any who were unable to join for this reason! We are including a new link with the button below. It should not ask for a password, though if it does, the password is: love

We do keep the link on the home page of our website at all times. If there are changes as was necessary recently, the home page will always have the most updated link.
Calling all artists-at-heart!
A bright, fresh emergence at the Christine Center is the soon-to-be-completed, new Art Studio! The new studio is made possible through a generous grant from Wheaton Ministries. Our first event celebrates our participation in the County-wide Spring into the Arts: a self-guided open-house tour of all the art studios in Clark county. There are over thirty accomplished artists that live and work in our local area. This year we are a host site, featuring the work of seven luminous artists, all creating from soul.

On April 24 and 25, the Christine Center will be transformed into a world-class art gallery with over 100 different works on display and for sale. And there will be participative painting and drumming opportunities! Watch this e-news and our web-site for upcoming details.

If you are interested in staying at the center during the art walk, please call our front office to make a reservation: 715-267-7507
