The Way of Grace
Hey Citizens:

How your metamorphosis? Where are you on this way of grace?
Accepting Jesus in your life is something to celebrate. Acknowledging the grace and love that Jesus pours out on us, even before we know it or ask for it, blesses us richly.
This Sunday is baptism Sunday. If you desire to be baptized, email me.
There was a family who attended a series we did about Disney Movies. One week we learned about Moana and baptism. People took home blue or green marbles to remember the message and their own baptisms. The family was planning a move and one week before their last Sunday I received an email asking if their children could be baptized the next Sunday. The oldest daughter had been speaking of baptism since they attended the service. The parents wanted their children to know and remember their baptism and for that reason, they had waited. The following Sunday, all 3 of the children were baptized
God’s grace is at work in children and adults inviting us to Christ and a way of life that is Christ centered and grace infused. Perhaps it’s your time to say your yes to Jesus.
It’s also a time for those who’ve already been Baptized, attending The City, when you can choose for The City to be your place of grace and growth by making it your church, your people, and joining the movement of creating heaven on earth. This Sunday we will welcome you with open arms. Send me an email, so we can prepare for you.
It’s a big Sunday in The City. Bring a friend and let’s celebrate grace.
Gracefully,
Charity

Everybody can be great, because everybody can serve. -Martin Luther King Jr

Our October 23, theme is Servant Leadership.
As a servant leader, you're a "servant first" – you focus on the needs of others, especially team members, before you consider your own. You acknowledge other people's perspectives, give them the support they need to meet their work and personal goals, involve them in decisions where appropriate, and build a sense of community within your team. This leads to higher engagement, more trust, and stronger relationships with team members and other stakeholders. It can also lead to increased innovation.

Learn how to start incorporating servant leadership in your life, work, and church.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others. Mahatma Gandhi

MUMY FALL RETREAT
The phrase, “Fear Not” occurs in the Bible over three hundred times and is one of the most common phrases that we see in scripture. For thousands of years humans have struggled with fear. We’ve allowed fear to control us and motivate us and it has left us feeling stuck and helpless. And it is hard not to! Having fear about what other people think about us, about our future, about our relationship with God, and the state of our world are all valid fears. But in 2 Timothy 1:7 we see that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power and love and self control. So how do we face our fears and look to God as our source of peace? How can we stop living out of fear, and instead live from a place of peace?
