The City remains committed to providing services to our community and customers. We are available by phone and we are encouraging the public to utilize technology to interact with the City as many of our services are available online. We are continually evaluating the best ways to provide city services while limiting in-person public contact to comply with recommendations from the counties and public health agencies and to provide a safe and healthy work environment for staff. City Closures
Starting Thursday, March 19, 2020, the main lobby areas of several City buildings were temporarily closed to the public. Staff are available to assist residents by phone or email. City Services remain available to our residents.

Affected public lobby areas include the following:

  • Police Department: 9-1-1 for emergencies and 512-260-4600 for non-emergencies

  • Fire Administration: 9-1-1 for emergencies or 512-401-5216 or 512-401-5222 for non-emergencies

  • Water Utilities: Bill payments accepted by drop-off in Night Drop Box in parking lot across from building 4, by mail, by phone at 512-401-5300 or online at municipalonlinepayments.com/cedarparktx


  • City Hall/City Manager’s Office: 512-401-5000

  • Development Services: 512-401-5100 

  • Public Works: 512-401-5550

  • Parks Maintenance: 512-401-5500

  • Tourism: 512-401-5060

Governor Abbott Issued Executive Order for all Texans
03/19/20 - Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared a statewide public health disaster to bring Texas in line with CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This declaration goes into effect at 11:59 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2020. 
The declaration does the following:
  • Limits social gatherings to no more than 10 people
  • Prohibits eating and drinking at restaurants and bars (Drive through, pick up, and delivery of food is allowed)
  • Closes gyms
  • Bans people from visiting nursing homes except for critical care
  • Temporarily closes schools
COVID-19 Spread and Mass Gatherings

  • Williamson County: As of March 20, 2020, there are eight positive cases of COVID-19 in Williamson County. Williamson County issued a new Order Relating to Large Events and Mass Gatherings Under Local State of Disaster that went into effect at 6 p.m., March 18, 2020. wilco.org/coronavirus


  • State of Texas: On March 19, 2020, the Governor issued restrictions to Williamson and Travis counties, effective statewide. gov.texas.gov/coronavirus

Williamson County has closed all of its lobbies in its facilities to restrict public access (with a few exceptions) and recommended that cities follow the example
