Traffic Signal Improvements Coming to Anderson Mill Road

For several years, the City of Cedar Park has worked to improve traffic signal operation and coordination with other community partners along Anderson Mill Road.

Now, after securing agreements for the maintenance of multiple intersections, Cedar Park will begin replacing old signal cables and installing underground conduits to improve the reliability of our traffic signals.

Upgrading control equipment, detection systems, and new vehicle and pedestrian signals will improve traffic flow and safety. Integrating with the Cedar Park Traffic Management Center, advanced communication and monitoring equipment will help manage traffic better and reduce congestion.

This project includes signals owned and maintained by Cedar Park, TxDOT-owned signals maintained by Cedar Park, and Travis County-owned signals, some of which need rehabilitation but are maintained by Cedar Park.
