For everyone who purchases a day pass, we will have hotdogs and chips (while supplies last). There will also be games and music to complete a fun-filled evening.

We will have fantastic giveaways for the first 200 members who stop by the Rec Center's front desk.

You can find each event listed on the Parks & Rec calendar here.

Puzzler Party

Come one, come all to this Puzzler Party! Cedar Park Parks & Rec and Treasure of the Hills Senior Center are partnering to bring a puzzle building extravaganza for everyone! Teams will compete against each other in a race against the clock to see who completes their puzzle fastest. Laughter and friendly competition are sure to come!

Agents of Discovery

Park adventurers can now play Agents of Discovery here in Cedar Park! Agents of Discovery is an augmented reality mobile game that helps outdoor explorers use technology to learn and play.

Our first mission is "Fishing is Fun!" at Brushy Creek Lake Park. Lead by Buttercup the grey squirrel, adventurers will discover the joys of fishing, learn about catch and release, salt water vs. fresh water fish, and even get to catch some fish using AR.

Download the Agents of Discovery app before you go. Happy adventuring!

FREE Dog Adoptions

The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter (WCRAS) is thrilled to announce free dog adoptions through Sunday, coinciding with the release of their new, fun-filled video set to the upbeat song "Hot To Go" by Chappell Roan. WCRAS invites everyone to come to the shelter, dance it out, and find their perfect furry friend!

“We're excited to bring a bit of fun and energy to the adoption process with our 'Hot To Go' video,” said Misty Valenta, Animal Service Director. “Our goal is to show just how rewarding and joyful adopting a pet can be. We hope this video inspires people to visit us and take advantage of our free adoptions this week.”

Residents can preview adoptable dogs here. The shelter is open daily from 12-6 pm at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, Texas.

To see the video, check out WCRAS Facebook or Instagram.

Storytime with Chief

Fire Chief James Mallinger made a special appearance at the Library's Storytime! On Wednesday, he read Fire Chief Fran to a packed house. It is a story about a fire chief helping keep her community safe, just like Chief Mallinger!

You can check the Library calendar here for more Storytime dates.
