Thank you to our Boards and Commissions volunteers!
|
The Cedar Park City Council extends its sincere appreciation to our Boards and Commissions Members.
Each member is appointed by a City Council Member to serve on these Boards and Commissions.
In turn, these volunteers vet major projects and make recommendations to our City Council.
These volunteers are your friends and neighbors. If you happen to see them out-and-about, be sure to thank them for their service to the City of Cedar Park!

50 is fabulous!
Mark your calendar for February 24, 2023
| | |
|
The City of Cedar Park officially celebrates its 50th anniversary on February 24, 2023! In fact, we'll be celebrating all throughout the year. We'll kick it off with a large public event the night of February 24 — so mark your calendars. Details are coming soon, but here's a hint: dust off your boogie shoes and bust out that leisure suit!
ICYMI: the City of Cedar Park's Year in Review
In case we missed you during the holidays, happy New Year from the City of Cedar Park! We hope you'll enjoy our reflecting on some recent accomplishments in the 2022 Year in Review. As Sinatra sang, it was a very good year!

We said we'd keep you posted, so we must let you know that the opening of Lakeline Park Phase I is now on track for early spring. Believe us, we're as frustrated as you are about these delays, but the completion of this park has faced some truly unprecedented challenges over the past several months.
These challenges ranged from Mother Nature wreaking havoc (both drought and flooding) on park features and newly-installed sod, to frankly, the same supply chain issues and labor shortages affecting projects across the region.
We're planning several fun events in Lakeline Park after it opens, and we'll be celebrating right there with you.

Ready, set, start cleaning your garage
Household Hazardous Waste porch pickup starts February 1
| |
You asked and we listened! Start gathering all of your old paint (including spray paint), solvents, cleaners, garden chemicals, pesticides, batteries and other household hazardous waste — because you'll soon be able to set it on your front porch for valet-style pickup! That's right, no more waiting in line to drop it off at a crowded, once-a-year event! We're rolling out the Household Hazardous Waste Porch Pickup Program, starting next month. There are a few steps to it, like separating items into boxes and calling to schedule pickup.
We'll go over all of that and more, in our next Cedar Park Pulse Trash & Recycling Edition January 27 — but we thought we'd give you a heads-up, so you can get a jump on your New Year's garage-cleaning!
