Lakeline Park Phase I opens this Saturday!

Just in time for spring, the City of Cedar Park's newest park, Lakeline Park, is now open for your enjoyment! You and your family can canoe, kayak and fish on the lake, zip across the playground on a zipline, enjoy a-picnic in one of the pavilions and more!

Lakeline Park Phase I is a 2015 voter-approved bond project that includes a-2.5 mile walk-run-bike loop around the lake, a 3,000-square-feet multipurpose pavilion (our largest!) for performing arts, corporate events and larger gatherings, a-universal playground for children of all ages, needs and abilities, kayaks and canoes rental, a-fishing pier, great lawn, four miles of extra-wide concrete trails throughout the park, ten acres of-athletics fields, wildflowers meadows that are already blooming and more! There are restroom facilities-and abundant parking spaces.

We ❤️ monarch butterflies!

At its March 23, 2023 City Council Meeting, the City of Cedar Park renewed its-Mayor's Monarch Pledge. This program was started by the National Wildlife Federation in 2015 and Cedar Park has participated annually since 2016. This program supports-monarch butterfly population recovery and education, environmental action and public awareness.

Thanks to these combined efforts, the-monarch butterfly population rebounded 25 percent last year!
