Cedar Park Public Library Celebrates a Record-Breaking First Year and LEED Silver Certification

The new Cedar Park Public Library has officially wrapped up its first full year of being open!

Since opening its doors, the Library has welcomed an unprecedented number of visitors, hosted more programs than ever before, and become a vibrant hub for learning, connection, and community life. From full events and hands-on STEM activities to bustling meeting rooms and expanded digital resources, the Library’s first-year milestones reflect just how much our community has embraced this new space.

This remarkable year also marks an important achievement in sustainability. The Library has earned LEED Silver certification, recognizing its thoughtful design and construction that prioritizes energy efficiency, healthy indoor environments, and long-term environmental stewardship. It’s a building created not only for today’s needs, but for future generations.

As we celebrate this record-setting first year, we extend our gratitude to the staff, visitors, and community partners who helped make it all possible. Here’s to many more years of discovery, innovation, and connection at the Cedar Park Public Library!

Don't Block The Walk

This holiday season, let’s all do our part to keep our communities safe and accessible for everyone!

Remember, Don't Block The Walk! Avoid parking your vehicle on sidewalks or blocking walkways. Blocked sidewalks create dangerous obstacles for pedestrians, especially those with strollers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids.

Together, we can make this time of year brighter and safer.
