Our streets crews will be treating bridges, overpasses and major intersections. Police and Firefighters stand ready to serve.
Please help them out by staying at home and indoors, if possible, during icy conditions. Driving and even taking a step outside on icy surfaces could prove extremely dangerous.

Be sure to protect your plumbing. During sustained periods of below-freezing temperatures:
- Drip and wrap outdoor faucets
- Note that if you use styrofoam cover like shown in photo, it is not advised to drip water
- You may also choose to let your faucets drip continuously inside your home while temperatures remain below freezing for an extended time
- If possible, keep your home heated inside to above-freezing temperature
- Open cabinet doors under sinks to expose pipes to heated air inside home
Remember to turn off your faucets completely when temperatures return to above-freezing.

We ❤️ kids ... and animals!

You may recall we recently gave some hay to the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter, to help any stray chickens they might take in. This week, we donated hay to the Vista Ridge High School ag barn, to help students keep their livestock warm. The hay is left over from a City event.
Let this serve as a reminder for us all to bring in pets during this cold weather, and if it isn't possible, provide them adequate shelter and warmth during sub-freezing temperatures.
