🎵🎶🎵
It's getting hot in here. So please don't run your hose.
🎵🎶🎵
Help us save water by staying mindful of how you use water, both outside and indoors. The City of Cedar Park has two designated days per week to water your lawn,
before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
- Odd addresses – Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Even addresses – Thursdays and Sundays
- Commercial addresses – Tuesdays and Fridays
When possible, keep an eye on the weather and let Mother Nature water for you.
Would you like to keep track of how much water you are using in your household and get notifications if your water usage is unusually high? Would you like reminders about your watering days or when your payment is due? Sign up for the

Youth Sports
As some youth leagues have gotten underway, we have received questions about health protocols at these events. Here are a few State requirements to keep in mind when at a youth sports event:
|
|
Masks are required if you are unable to social distance (6 feet apart)
|
|
Group sizes should be limited to 10 people or less
|
|
Masks are
NOT
required if you are:
- 10 and under
- able to social distance
- physically participating
|
|
Children participating should minimize contact with anyone considered high risk, for 14 days
|
|
|
You can find the minimum standard health protocols on the Governor’s page:

Trash and Recycling
Due to COVID-19, Central Texas Refuse is experiencing some labor shortages. This may occasionally affect the ability to complete some routes each day. If your trash/recycling is not picked up by 6 p.m. the day of your trash pickup, check our City Facebook page for updates for when your service will be completed. We will do our best to notify our customers when delays happen via social media. Thanks for your patience.
You are always able to report trash/recycling issues on our CP Connect 2.0 app, or on our
website

With all this dry weather, we now have a burn ban in effect in both Williamson and Travis Counties. While outdoor burning without a permit within the Cedar Park City limits is always prohibited, we thought we’d take this opportunity to remind you. Here’s the link to our

Fight the Bite
Williamson County and Cities Health District recently found a few West Nile Virus-positive test pools of Mosquitoes outside Cedar Park City limits. It’s time to check on the 3 Ds of mosquito safety at your home.
- Drain standing water on your property so mosquitoes won’t breed.
- Defend using an EPA-approved insect repellant.
- Dress in long sleeves and pants and spray insect repellant on your clothes.

We ❤️ the U.S. Census
and with over 70 percent of Cedar Park residents having responded, it looks like y'all do too! With the rest of Texas at a completion rate of just 57 percent, Cedar Park is showing how we're the best (we may be slightly biased).
Just one more reason to ❤️ Cedar Park. Keep up the good work and let's get to 100 percent!
