Official news about the City of Cedar Park from the City of Cedar Park.
Turning the Page

While books may be one of the best-known parts of the Cedar Park Public Library, the library is so much more than just books. In our new location in the Bell District, we will continue bringing you even more exciting ways to learn! Have you wondered what a Makerspace is all about? In the first video in our new series Turning the Page, take a couple minutes to learn about what you asked for and will find in the new library.

Be sure to keep an eye out for more updates and videos as we continue to plan the new Cedar Park Public Library.
4th of July Thank You!
We want to thank everyone who came out to celebrate the 4th of July with us. We understand that the finale may not have been what we were hoping for due to the rainy conditions earlier in the day, but it was good to have Fireworks back, and we are already looking forward to next year's celebration!

Fight The Bite

Please take a few minutes to drain standing water from recent rain. Mosquitoes need only a bottle cap of water to lay eggs. Please check the less-than-obvious places including plant trays, pet dishes, even the lids of your trash and recycling bins. If you can't drain it, treat it.

Protect yourself by practicing the 3Ds:
  1. Defend by using insect repellent
  2. Dress in long sleeves and pants when outdoors, especially at Dusk and Dawn
  3. Drain water in flower pots, pet dishes or clogged gutters so mosquitoes don’t have a place to breed

Calling all artists!

Today is the last day to submit your artwork for display in the Cedar Park Sculpture Garden. The PACE (Parks, Arts and Community Enrichment) Board will accept entries of large-scale, free-standing and interactive sculptures, and welcomes all artists.

We ❤️ volunteers

We’re so excited to introduce two of our newest Victim Services volunteers with the Cedar Park Police Department.
Welcome Courtney and her four-legged best friend, TONKA, the giant therapy dog!

They will assist victims, families, law enforcement, and many others when they truly need help the most.
Interested in volunteering? We could really use your help!
