Official news about the City of Cedar Park from the City of Cedar Park.
Thank you for staying safe, Cedar Park!

We want to give a big shout-out to all of Cedar Park for helping us keep you safe during last week's ice storm! Folks heeded our advice and mostly stayed indoors and off the roads. Our emergency dispatchers experienced pretty average call volume and there were few weather-related incidents as our City crews worked through the storm. Thanks for helping us help you! Way to go, Cedar Parkians!

Leave it to a Beaver ... to get stuck in a wastewater pool
We ❤️ animals!
In case you missed it, our Animal Control Officers Madison English and Paige Kowalski did some "dam" good work rescuing a busy beaver who got stuck in one of our City of Cedar Park wastewater treatment pools last week.

He went to All Things Wild Rehabilitation, Inc. for a spa day and to be treated for a minor tummy ache (likely from wastewater exposure) before he was returned to his nearby habitat, which happens to be Brushy Creek.

Check out the video. You've got to see it to beaver-lieve it!
