We ❤️ City of Cedar Park Lifeguards!
We ❤️-Cedar Park Lifeguards! Yay! We have enough fully-trained, qualified lifeguards to open Veterans Memorial and Milburn Pools daily at regular hours, starting May 28 as planned. These pools will be fully operational all summer with fully qualified lifeguard staffing. Buttercup Pool will open weekends only starting June 18. Like other communities around us, it has been challenging to recruit enough lifeguards to allow all of our pools to be fully operational.

We are still actively recruiting lifeguards and continually evaluating staffing levels. We will share any other operational changes as they occur through our social media channels and the City’s website.

Note that we are no longer accepting new pool rentals but existing reservations will be honored.

Yes, we got some much-needed rainfall and cooler temperatures earlier this week, but you know it won't last.

This summer is going to be especially hot and dry, and it's looking like we're headed into another drought. One of your best water conservation tools is at your fingertips. If you haven't done so already, set up your online digital water metering portal account. There, you can see your water usage in near-real-time, detect leaks and set reminders.

Outdoor watering is the single biggest use of water during the hottest months. During late summer, for example, we often see drinking water production double daily at our water treatment plant. You can save water and money by following your designated two-days-per-week watering schedule.
