Official news about the City of Cedar Park from the City of Cedar Park.
Census Day is April 1, 2020, nationwide. The Census counts every person living in the United States every 10 years. This count determines representation in Congress and the amount of federal dollars given to states for healthcare, housing, education and more. This is why it's so important for you to participate in the Census. Invitations to participate will be mailed out in March. This year will be the first year you'll be able to fill out the Census online. You will also have the option of participating by phone, paper questionnaire or an in-person interview. What questions will the Census Bureau ask? What questions will they never ask? What important dates should you know?
