City of Cedar Park gets AAA Bond Rating
AAA = perfect credit score, a.k.a. stretching taxpayer dollars!
S&P Global recently upgraded Cedar Park to a perfect AAA Bond Rating. Think of it as having a 900 credit score for yourself.

It means we're able to finance debt for voter-approved Transportation, Public Safety and Parks projects at a much lower interest rate - stretching taxpayer dollars!

A couple of big factors for the upgrade were our local economic health and smart fiscal policies.
  • Starting Monday, August 1, traffic turning to/from Main Street at New Hope Drive detours to Enchanted Rock Drive
  • This will last for several days
  • Why? The BCRUA is making repairs to its water line in this area
  • Contractors working extended hours (7 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Saturday) to complete job ASAP
  • Please allow extra time and drive with caution in this area
What's hot this year?
Saving water!

Whoa! We hit 25 million gallons in daily production at our water treatment plant last Sunday. That's more than 1 3/4 times our normal production. As of today, Lake Travis, our only water source, is 59 percent full.
Is your irrigation system your irritation system?
LCRA rebates provide incentive to get it checked by a pro

The City of Cedar Park is a customer of the LCRA. That means if you're a City of Cedar Park water customer, you could be eligible for LCRA rebates of 50 percent of the total cost, up to $600 per residential property, for irrigation evaluations, retrofitting or replacing irrigation system equipment and more.

LITTLE MISS
I reported my neighbors, HOA and every business I see watering on the wrong day, at the wrong time and all over the street and sidewalk ... and the City does nothing about it.
All Little Miss memes aside, we're serious about water conservation during this historic drought! When we receive a complaint through Report It, here's what happens:
  • We first verify there's a violation
  • We notify the customer and take it from there
