Every 10 years, the Census counts every person living in the United States and the five U.S. territories.
Did you know?

- The Census is mandated by the Constitution and you have until October 31, 2020 to respond
If you get a visit from a Census worker later this year, verify they have a valid ID badge with their photograph, a U.S. Department of Commerce watermark, and an expiration date. They may also carry Census Bureau bags or equipment with the Census logo.
Census takers may deliver a paper questionnaire by hanging it on the front door in a water-resistant plastic bag.
