COVID-19 Stage 2 Reopenings
|
|
|
Riverside County has received a variance from the State allowing it to join other counties across the state in moving into Expanded Stage 2 reopening.
We are now in early Stage 2, where retail, related logistics and manufacturing, office workplaces, limited personal services, outdoor museums, child care, and
essential businesses
can open with modifications. The state is
issuing guidance
to help these workplaces reopen safely.
|
|
As California moves into stage 2 per State of California's
Resilience Roadmap
, every business should take steps to reduce the risk of COVID-19 and create a safer environment for workers and customers.
Below is statewide guidance for businesses to follow, if they are permitted to open per county health rules. Learn more and find industry guidance for counties that have received state approval to move faster into stage 2 on the
County Variance
page.

COUNTY GUIDANCE
County guidelines are not meant to replace the state guidance but supplement them. Businesses should review all relevant recommendations for reopening.
- Businesses are encouraged to implement guidelines available on the county’s website at RivCoBiz.org.

COUNTY NEEDS TO CONTINUE LESS THAN 8% TESTING POSITIVE
TO MOVE INTO STAGE 3
A key factor in the State of California’s decision to allow counties to move into Stage 3, is getting more residents tested. The latest testing numbers for the County and the Coachella Valley, District 4, can be found at
rivcoph.org/coronavirus
under “reports.”
YOU CAN HELP OUR RECOVERY BY GETTING TESTED
Testing at the county-run sites is open to anyone, whether you have symptoms or not, and there are no out-of-pocket costs to individuals. You must have an appointment to get tested.
Coachella Valley testing sites are located in Desert Hot Springs, Cathedral City, Indio and Mecca.
