A Wonderful Presence at the IBEX 2017 Show
Clarion Marine unveiled dozens of new products, while
Austin Keen greeted fans
& gave away Limited Edition T-Shirts

Many of us were biting our nails as Hurricane Irma brewed in the Atlantic, fearing for the safety of everyone in the South East as the powerful storm made landfall. Although damage was severe throughout much of the South East and especially Florida, Tampa fared much better than was expected and the annual  International Boat Builder's Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) went on as planned at the Tampa Convention Center. After a full week of activities, workshops, and seminars, it's clear that everyone needed the distraction and reprieve.
Clarion had a great presence at the show featuring a 31' Robalo boat at the dock equipped with a 22-piece Clarion sound system. Sporting a nautical theme, Clarion's 400 sq/ft indoors exhibit was very well received by visitors. Customers, media, and partners marveled at our new line of Clarion Marine speakers as well as our completely revamped source unit line-up, NMEA 2000 compatibility, and host of accessories. Our special guest and Clarion Marine Ambassador,  Austin Keen , spent time at our booth (and boat) to greet fans, sign limited edition giveaway T-shirts, and participate in a highly watched Instagram Live video from our friends at  Boat Trader .
We want to thank all of our friends and partners that made IBEX 2017 so great, and we look forward to working with some of the new faces we met at this year's show. Clarion Hits the Sand!
Clarion kicks-off the Powersports Season
at the 2017 Sand Sports Super Show

Last Friday through Sunday (September 15-17), our team was at the  2017 Sand Sports Super Show (SSSS), spending the weekend to show off our entire line of weather-resistant products. Herds of passionate Powersports vehicle owners, builders and enthusiasts stopped by and loved what they saw at Clarion's 400 sq/ft booth. Located at the  Orange County Fair & Event Center , this year's SSSS show was one of the best to-date. In addition to showing off a dozen new products and accessories, Clarion also displayed gear in a  Polaris RZR , built by our wonderful Clarion Builds friends at  Beach Autosound and  Autowave Inc.
Fully equipped with a CMS4, four 6.5" CMQ1622RL Speakers, an XC2510 amplifier, and a CC720 backup camera, this Polaris RZR was one of the most high-tech vehicles on the lot of the world's biggest powersports vehicles expo. We ran into many friends and partners at the expo, including our pals at  Assault Industries who were showing off their latest  Polaris Slingshot, featuring a Clarion CMS5 Source Unit. After all is said and done, this was a fun weekend, and we loved showing off our great all-weather products at the event.
Tech Tuesday Crowns Winner!
Lowe 26' Pontoon set for Clarion Marine Upgrade

A couple of month ago, we began a new video series on our social channels called
Tech Tuesdays. Each Tuesday, we released a new Product Feature video, showing off one of the many features of our award-winning CMS4 Source Unit, or our CMQ Speaker Line. Logging in tens of thousands of views and many comments from viewers, fans, and enthusiasts, it's clear that our social audience loved learning about the newest features of our Marine products.
As part of the series, we promised one lucky fan the opportunity to win a CMS4 Source Unit. Now that the series is over, we would like to announce our winner! Hailing from Portage Lakes, OH, Robert Rawdon has enjoyed Clarion "audio units from the early 90s" and is currently upgrading his 1989 Lowe 26' Pontoon. Robert has already begun his upgrades with new carpet and seats from Cabela's, while adding a Nissan 40hp Oil Injection Engine. On videos of our CMS4's features, Robert remarked,
"The fader shortcut is an awesome idea! I also like that you can use the RCA jacks making for a nice clean hook up and install... The low volt monitor alarms at 10.5v, then at 10v the unit will turn off so you still have enough power to start the motor. I would love to see and hear how great it would look and sound on my Pontoon boat. It would be a TRUE Party Barge!"
As a boat owner and devoted fan who often entertains other families on his pontoon, Robert is sure to enjoy and appreciate the capabilities of Clarion Marine Systems.
