Get Your Boat Ready for the Season!

It's the start of the boating season, and whether this is your first season on the water or your hundredth, annual prep and cleaning are part of the process. In addition to advising you to properly clean and perform regular maintenance, we have a few quick tips to get you started on the right foot!
When you're pulling your boat out from storage for the start of the season, it's important to take a look at every component. Inspect everything from the fuel system, various belts, cables, and hoses to fluid levels, safety gear, propellers, and hulls. Boats in storage can start to corrode, with parts becoming brittle or cracked, especially if specific tasks weren't performed prior to storage.
Once you've made sure that every part of your boat is good to go, from a lack of damage to the propellers and hull, that all safety gear is in good working condition, that there isn't damage to belts and hoses, and that the fuel system is in working order, it's time to check out the electrical system. Is your battery charged and does it hold a charge? Have you removed any corroded terminals? Are all connections clean and tight? If everything is in working order, it's time to hit the water!
Simple and Loud:
The Way It Was Meant to Be!

When it comes to multimedia systems, a boating novice may believe they're just for cars, and not for marine applications. However, Clarion offers a lineup of systems that have been designed to withstand the harsher marine environment. If you're looking for an all-in-one system, the CMS2 marine multimedia system offers plenty of features to meet your needs.

While the CMS2 may look like a simple radio, it offers so much more, including a global weather band tuner, USB ports, a 6-channel RCA output, an amplifier, and also SiriusXM satellite radio. With a water-resistant IPX6 rating, the CMS2 offers a large display with blue backlit illuminations, making it easy to read the screen under all conditions.

When you want to listen to your music with peak clarity and sound, the built-in amplifier offers 50 watts per channel, and is ready to rock right out of the box! To keep your tunes pumping in fine form, the amplifier also continuously monitors the system to maintain low distortion levels. Get the party started with the Clarion CMS2!

Clarion's CMS2 marine multimedia system is available to boat builders directly from Clarion. Specialty marine retailers and dealers have access to the system through Land 'N' Sea Distributing and Seawide, while Vickers AV supports premium 12V specialists across Southeast United States with their marine product needs.
