A Matter of Size: Miniature Bindings and Texts from the Collection of Patricia J. Pistner Spanning 4,500 years, on view are 275 miniature examples of cuneiform tablets and other antiquities, mediaeval manuscripts, early printed books, and contemporary artists books and design bindings representing a variety of artistic styles. 2019 Grolier Exhibit of Pistner's collection The Pistner House: A Master in Minature The Pistner House focuses on the the centerpiece of the exhibition, a stunning nine-room, 1750s-design French townhouse. Featuring the work of more than 60 world renowned miniature artisans who have created the house, rooms and furnishings as exact replicas from Louis-period French design on an inch to the foot scale. Also included are a collection of Kupjack rooms and the fabulous Denis Hillman miniature French furniture.
