Dear Friends,

As we head into the final week of performances of our 2011 MSS season, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the wonderful two summers we have spent as residents in the Brooks Theatre at The Cleveland Play House. This gorgeous, intimate space has been transformed into a 1920's movie studio lot, a comic strip come to life, the battle grounds of the French Revolution, and currently the deck of the Cotton Blossom in the great American musical, Show Boat. We have taken you to Berlin's Grand Hotel, the stage of Camp Rock and even the world of Carolyn Dumont in the world premiere of Christmas Carolyn, last December. In the span of just 24 months, we have produced 72 performances, entertained 8,500 patrons, and gave over 450 children in the My First Musical program the opportunity to experience their first musical.

Our special thanks to the staff of The Cleveland Play House, our many volunteers, and the leadership of our  MSS Board of Trustees, all of whom worked very hard to make these transition years not only possible, but truly amazing. If you have not had the chance to join us for Show Boat, I invite you to come aboard and attend one of our final 5 performances and experience (for what might be the very last time) the beauty and theatrical intimacy that only The Brooks Theatre can provide!

Thank you,

Pierre-Jacques Brault
