March is gone and April is here. Here at The Cliff we are gearing up for Easter. We will shift our focus and teaching to cover Palm Sunday, Maunday Thursday, Good Friday, then on Resurrection Sunday we will host a service and dinner for the teens and their families.
Some maybe asking why we do these dinners; Christmas Eve and Easter? One of our organizational core values "is to intentionally reach unchurched teens" and this is one way we are intentional about meeting this core belief. Two years ago we started with a Christmas Eve service. We found that we could get 15 teens to come and hear the Christmas story at The Cliff, but could only get 2 if we attended a church service.
That led to an Easter service, where we also invited not only the teens but their families as well. We found that many of their family members would attend The Cliff service but not go to a church service. So by having these services at The Cliff, we not only reach unchurched teens, but we also reach their unchurched family members.
God is good!! Please cover us in your prayers as we move forward in the direction God is calling us.

SUMMER CAMP 2022
GOAL: $5,000
RAISED: 1,600
We are also gearing up for Summer Camp 2022. Last year, 5 students went to Summer Camp and 4 of them accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. This year, our goal is 10 students. This camp will happen June 12th thru 17th. Our goal is raising $5,000! We are asking for scholarships in the amount of $300.00. In addition to scholarships for the teens to attend camp, we also need to raise funds to cover travel costs as well as meal expenses in the amount of $2,000. If you would like to invest in a students' life and send them to camp, here are two ways.
- Click the "Invest Here" button below, then in the drop down menu click "Suzette and Scott" and then in the note section put "scholarship".
- Make a check payable to CPYM and send it to PO Box 189 Shamokin Dam, PA 17876 or give a check to Suzette or Scott and we will see that it makes it to the office.

Truck Repair
Suzette and I usually don't layout personal needs in our monthly newsletter, but after being encouraged to do so and praying about it we decided to share.
Back in December of 2021, we took our truck, for what we thought was going to be a simple, some what inexpensive repair. We were using antifreeze with no signs of leaks and we needed an oil cooler. This job turned into a blown head gasket and oil cooler, but then turned into a total motor rebuild. Why? Because when removing the heads to repair the gaskets they found pistons to be scarred with burn marks from glow plugs malfunctioning.
Some might be thinking what does this have to do with the Cliff ministry? Even though it is our personal truck, we use this truck for ministry too. During the pandemic and when the opportunities arise, this truck hauls food and other items to families community wide. During the pandemic we hauled 50,000 lbs of food to families.
Plus, Suzette and I use the truck to haul our RV. Why is this important, because this is how we, as a married couple in ministry, get away to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect.
The total cost of these repairs were $11,130. A balance of $7,500 is still owed. If you feel led to help us relieve this extra financial burden here are 3 ways:
- Click the "Invest Here" button below, then in the drop down menu click "Suzette and Scott" and then in the note section put "Truck Repair".
- Make a check payable to CPYM and send it to PO Box 189 Shamokin Dam, Pa. 17876. In the memo section write "Truck Repair.
- If your not interested in tax deduction you can make check payable to Suzette and Scott and send it to 1200 6th Ave Berwick PA. 18603.
