The Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center proudly presents the 5th Annual Make Earth Cool Again Celebration & Film Festival, a month long series of films, music, and community conversation exploring the future of our planet.
Now in its fifth year, this Earth Month tradition brings together powerful documentary films, inspiring stories of innovation and environmental solutions, and a special live concert celebrating the beauty of the natural world and the people working to protect it.
The series opens with David Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet, the legendary naturalist’s lifetime message for the planet we share. Through a remarkable personal reflection on the changes he has witnessed across the Earth during his lifetime, Attenborough offers both a warning and a hopeful vision for the future.
Throughout the festival, audiences will explore a wide range of topics including the global transition to renewable energy, the emerging circular economy, the history of climate policy in the United States, the growing crisis of plastic pollution, and real world communities already implementing innovative sustainability solutions.
The celebration also includes a special live performance by acclaimed singer songwriter Ryan Heflin, whose soulful music reflects themes of nature, connection, and the human relationship to the world around us.
More than a film series, Make Earth Cool Again invites the community to gather, learn, and engage in meaningful conversation about the challenges facing our planet and the opportunities for positive change. Through storytelling, music, and shared experience, the series explores how creativity, innovation, and collective action can help shape a healthier and more sustainable future.
Because the future of our planet is not only an environmental question. It is also a cultural one.
Join us at the Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center for this inspiring Earth Month celebration of storytelling, creativity, and solutions for a thriving planet.
