At Babson, we are enjoying the last days of summer vacation while also preparing for the fast-approaching start of a new academic year. This year, the Collaborative will continue to grow and develop in response to your feedback and innovative ideas. Make sure to read the monthly Fieldnotes so you don't miss out on news, events and special opportunities like the Babson Academy scholarships announced in this issue.
Today, with 35 institutions in 22 countries, our membership is the largest and most diverse in our six year history, and that is surely something to celebrate!

WELCOME, UNIVERSIDAD FIDÉLITAS
Our first member from Costa Rica and Central America
Founded in 1980,Universidad Fidélitas is a top-ranked private university for engineering in Costa Rica. Along with STEM, they specialize in areas including business, law and psychology and have 47 laboratories across three campus in San José.
All faculty and staff from Collaborative member institutions may apply. Preference will be given to individuals who are actively engaged with the Babson Collaborative.
Each year the Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conference (BCERC) brings together academics and real-world practitioners to share insights and ideas from scholarly research on entrepreneurship. The 43rd BCERC will be held in the U.S. June 7-10, 2023. Submit your abstract for the 2023 BCERC by October 12, 2022.
Apply to be one of two scholars from Collaborative member schools who will join Babson as a Babson Collaborative Visiting Scholar. Application deadline: September 15, 2022.
In June 2022, BCERCDoctoral Consortium participants published 25 practitioner translations that highlight important implications for entrepreneurs and other ecosystem participants. These articles translate academic work into a format that offers practitioners and policy-makers new insights. Articles are available for free download.
