UDEP EXPANDS REACH OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMS TO THE NORTHERN REGION OF PERU
Universidad de Piura (UDEP) (Peru) is leading a collective effort through its schools and business incubator, HUB UDEP, to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the local community and in the northern region of Peru. Their primary objective is to connect the different actors of the ecosystem and support and empower entrepreneurs in the different stages of development with a variety of programs such as WISE - Women in STEM Entrepreneurship. They strive to impact populations including entrepreneurs, female founders, university students and high school students.

We Can Do It is a competition to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in high school students. More than 600 high schools students have participated in this competition which is the main high school entrepreneurship competition in Peru. UDEP trains students and their teachers, and provides students with the knowledge and tools to refine and pitch their business idea in the competition finals. We Can Do It was launched in 2017 through a collaboration between UDEP's Business School, Commercial Office and HUB UDEP.
