July 2022
STUDENTS BUILD BONDS AT BABSON
Each July, nearly 500 students from around the world participate in Babson Build, our immersive bootcamp-style entrepreneurship program. Students live and work together, creating bonds and establishing global networks that last beyond their time at Babson.

It was especially wonderful this July, to meet so many students and group coordinators from Collaborative member institutions including AUM (Kuwait), EAE (Spain), Mahindra (India), NTNU (Norway), UDD (Chile), Rosario (Colombia) and UEES (Ecuador), some of whom are pictured here.

APPLY TO BE A COLLABORATIVE VISITING SCHOLAR
In 2023, two scholars from Collaborative member schools will be invited to join Babson as a Babson Collaborative Visiting Scholar. This is an opportunity for cross-institution collaboration among faculty that results in academic research, case writing and other scholarship. The appointment is hybrid, with one month spent at Babson and the rest taking place virtually. Application deadline: September 15, 2022.

MEET 2022 VISTING SCHOLAR,
COLIN DONALDSON
Congratulations to Colin Donaldson (EDEM, Spain), our inaugural Collaborative Visiting Scholar. In partnership with Heidi Neck, and within the context of Babson’s Summer Venture Program accelerator, Colin examined how entrepreneurial identity can be a helpful predictor of entrepreneurial behavior and a helpful indicator in tracking students’ progress in determining who they want to become.
