BABSON PROFESSORS SHARE ECOSYSTEM EXPERTISE
|
|
Structural changes to higher education were at work long before the pandemic hit, but they are sure to accelerate in its aftermath. Babson College (USA) president, Stephen Spinelli believes that developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem can improve the odds of succeeding in a challenging and changing marketplace, and help institutions thrive in the age of disruption.
Babson entrepreneurship professors, Candida Brush and Mark Rice understand that building a high-impact ecosystem involves alignment of the curriculum and co-curriculum as well as collaboration and coordination with all stakeholders. Academic entrepreneurs must engage intentionally and strategically to strengthen university entrepreneurship ecosystems and foster the critical connection between the college, community and region.
Professors Brush and Rice will share their experiences, demonstrate proven frameworks and focus on action planning as they guide senior university administrators and faculty in the new Babson Academy online program:
January 4-22, 2021

2021 VIRTUAL SUMMIT LOOKS TO THE FUTURE
The Babson Collaborative annual global summit will be virtual in 2021. While we are disappointed not to be able to meet in person, we are excited about opening the event to a much larger audience. While the global pandemic has forced educators to adapt to online and hybrid teaching, this transition has also identified opportunities to rethink the limitations of the university. In the summit, we will explore the implications for learners, educators and educational institutions when geography matters less, technology matters more, and new paradigms present unprecedented challenges and opportunities.
We are grateful to our friends at Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile) for their flexibility and for inviting us to Santiago for the next in-person summit in March of 2022!
