JULY-SEPTEMBER 2026 INAUGURAL ISSUE
| | WELCOME TO THE COLLABORATIVE QUARTERLY | | |
A Note from the Collaborative Welcome to the first edition of the Collaborative Quarterly! This newsletter was created to make it easier for our members to stay informed, connected, and engaged in the climate work happening across Santa Barbara County.
The idea for this newsletter began more than a year ago during our Collaborative's strategic planning process. Together, members identified a shared need for stronger communication, greater coordination across organizations and committees, and more opportunities to learn from one another. Through follow-up surveys and conversations, you told us that you wanted a reliable way to receive funding opportunities, committee updates, upcoming events, resources, and announcements from across the network. This newsletter is one of the ways we're putting that feedback into action.
Our hope is that the Collaborative Quarterly becomes more than a newsletter. We envision it as a communication hub that helps members discover new opportunities, understand what others are working on, celebrate successes, and identify places where partnerships can grow. As our network continues to expand, we hope this space makes it easier to navigate the Collaborative, find ways to get involved, and strengthen the relationships that make regional collaboration possible.
Thank you for being part of this growing community of practice.

Local feedback will help turn an AI-generated draft into a more useful regional planning tool.
