THANKSGIVING LUNCH
TICKET DEADLINE IS TODAY
Today is the deadline to purchase tickets for our Thanksgiving Lunch. 

Parents and guardians are invited to share a Thanksgiving meal at the Middle School and High School on Tuesday November 26 from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. The menu is turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans and a dinner roll. 

Please stop by the Middle School or High School office to purchase your ticket for $5. Please keep your receipt because that is your ticket for your meal.

We hope to see you there!
SENIOR PICS - NOV. 21
ASTEC seniors will be taking their senior photos all day on November 21 in Shepherd Mall. Scholars will be provided a senior drape to wear in photos. Come camera ready!
ASTEC’s Honor Roll has been posted! Congratulations, Scholars! Scholars on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll have all A’s, scholars on the Headmaster’s Honor Roll have received A’s and B’s.
DON'T MISS MACBETH!
ASTEC scholars and their families are encouraged to attend our Drama Department’s production of Macbeth on November 21 and 23 in the ASTEC High School Auditorium at 7 p.m.

It’s time for ASTEC Holiday Angels! Most of us are fortunate to have the resources needed to enjoy the holidays, but that's not true for every family at ASTEC.

HANDS-ON LEARNING
ECOLOGY WITH MS. DEAL
ASTEC High School Ecology students in Ms. Kelsey Deal’s class researched starfish adaptations and the role of starfish as a keystone species. Students then identified these structures during a dissection.
BE WEATHER AWARE!
Scholars should wear heavy coats, gloves, hats and scarves as the temperature drops. Cold weather is headed our way this week. Please make sure your scholars are prepared!
WE'VE BROKEN GROUND!

YEARBOOK PICKUP
Scholars who ordered yearbooks last year can pick them up during their English classes. ASTEC graduates can pick up their yearbooks at the ASTEC High School office from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
REMINDER:
DRIVE LINE CHANGES
This is a reminder that the parking lot south of the school, next to NW 23rd Street is under construction. We had hoped Shepherd Center would be finished by now, but the weather has impeded its completion.

The middle school drive line is not affected. High school drivers should park in the far southwest parking lot.

Parents who do not want to wait in the driveline must still pick up students in the far west parking lot as always. With cold weather coming, you may want to consider going through the driveline to pick up your scholar.

NEED HELP?
Families facing a difficult financial time, may contact their school counselor for a waiver for activity fees or if they are in need of school supplies. Help is available.

Parking permits are available for the 2019-2020 school year. Get yours for $10 from any Student Council member!
