In a few days with the coming of Holy Week, the Church will enter into her most sacred season. May these words from a sermon of St. John Henry Cardinal Newman help us to prepare to walk once again with our Lord on his road to Calvary:
We are now approaching that most sacred day when we commemorate Christ's passion and death. Let us try to fix our minds upon this great thought. Let us try, what is so very difficult, to put off other thoughts, to clear our minds of things transitory, temporal, and earthly, and to occupy them with the contemplation of the Eternal Priest and His one ever-enduring Sacrifice; that Sacrifice which, though completed once for all on Calvary, yet ever abideth, and, in its power and its grace, is ever present among us, and is at all times gratefully and awfully to be commemorated, but now especially, when the time of year is come at which it was made. Let us look upon Him who was lifted up that He might draw us to Him; and, by being drawn one and all to Him, let us be drawn to each other, so that we may understand and feel that He has redeemed us one and all, and that, unless we love one another, we cannot really have love to Him who laid down His life for us. (“The Incarnate Son, a Sufferer and Sacrifice,” Parochial and Plain Sermons, VI, 6)

Looking for New Altar Servers
St. Boniface is looking for new servers to join this special and important ministry! We welcome youth in Grades 4 and up, who have received their First Communion. This is a wonderful experience for the young members of our parish to learn a little more about their faith, and take-on responsibility.
Typically, individuals would serve one to two times per month at the 10am and 11:15am Masses. Training will be provided and will likely take place on an upcoming April Sunday at St Boniface between the two morning liturgies.
If you (your child) are interested, kindly complete this interest form by April 5th. Thank you!
Fr. Mark Paul, CO

Spring Cleaning @ ABVM
Join Fr Anthony and a group of other parishioners to help clean and spruce up the church in anticipation of Easter. Coffee and pastries will be ready to fuel us up. Great for the kids too, and if you can only come for a part of the time, that is great also. Please RSVP to Meghan Duffy, mduffyeleven@gmail.com, so we can plan accordingly. Thank you.

Assumption Receives Koch Foundation Grant
We are pleased to announce the award of a grant in the amount of $20,000 from the Koch Foundation to support the renovation of the hall bathrooms. The grant, which was submitted in April 2021 by Father Michael, supports the expansion of facilities for the women’s restroom and the upgrade of the plumbing, electric and overall restroom facilities. We are grateful to the Koch Foundation for the support of our Renaissance Project to restore and improve our parish campus for use in the 21st-century.

Why I'm Excited about the Renaissance Project at Assumption
"Being a part of Assumption's Pastoral and Finance Councils has given me a front row seat to the exciting work that's been completed during the Renaissance project and what still needs to be done. Assumption is such a beautiful church so I'm thrilled to be involved with restoring it to its former glory and with making improvements that will allow it to be accessible to all. I can't wait until we can all be together enjoying our first event in the new parish hall!"-Lisa Lambert.
More information about the next stage of the Renaissance Project will be shared after Easter as well as ways all can get involved.
